The Baltimore Ravens are headed for the playoffs! After Steve McNair injuring his hand in the first quarter, relief quarterback Kyle Boller helped the Ravens officially clinch a playoff spot when he threw two touchdowns giving them a 27-17 victory against the Cleveland Browns. McNair said that he expects to play next Sunday, but my question is...Why? If you've already clinched a playoff spot, why risk further injury to your starting quarterback? Maybe in the last game of the season give him a few snaps to work any rust out, but let the man watch a game from the sidelines, backup quarterback Mark Boller has shown that he can hold down the fort.

The Baltimore Ravens win this last weekend was the first time since 1995 that anyone has beat the Chiefs at home in December. It also put Baltimore in a better position to clinch the AFC North title. The Chiefs didn't give up too many big plays, but the ones that they did really hurt them. One was the 87-yart touchdown pass to Mark Clayton. Another was a 33-yard pass to Demetrius Williams in the 4th quarter. I'm rooting for the Ravens all the way. BTW, has anyone seen what SuperBowl tickets are going for?

So I know this happened a few weeks ago, but when Matt Stover's streak of consecutive successful field goals ended, was there any kicker left with a no attempts missed? Does some kicker come close every year to the record held by Mike Vanderjagt. If Stover hadn't missed that would have been a cool record to break for the Baltimore Ravens. Oh well...
