TONIGHT'S BIG GAME

If the Baltimore Ravens can win the AFC North title tonight, it will be their 2nd in an 11 year run. The Cinncinati Bengal's wide receiver, T.J. Houshmandzadeh, has claimed the Bengals are a better team, but just look who's got the better record. If the Ravens can beat the Bengals tonight, they will be able to focus their pursuit on securing one of the conference's two first round byes. It will also give them home field advantage during the playoff's.

Ravens Have Been Soaring

I'm figuring the Baltimore Ravens will continue their flight, swooping over the hapless Atlanta Falcons when they get to M&T Bank Stadium Sunday. True, we had a bit of a scare from the Tennessee Titans last week, but Steve McNair kept his cool and the Ravens kept their three-game winning streak going.

Meanwhile, Atlanta's Michael Vick has had a couple of disheartening fumbles that have to be bugging him as much as they bugged Falcon fans. All in all, the Ravens seem poised to...well, they just seem poised.

We'll take an undramatic win.

The Baltimore Ravens led all the way over the Cincinnati Bengals yesterday. The first couple of TDs came on the heels of turnovers, but there was some very fine offensive play, including Steve McNair passing for 245 yards. Cinci's QB, Carson Palmer, threw for 195 yards, but a couple of interceptions, one early and one late, kept the score in favor of the Ravens.

Nice to be two games up in our division here in mid-season.
