The Stats Don’t Lie

The Baltimore Ravens season fell below expectations and was disappointing for us fans. I want to point out though that the Ravens broke a lot of records and racked up some pretty impressive statistics in 2005. Todd Heap gained more receiving yards this season than any other player in Ravens history with 2,893 total yards. He was third in the running for the most catches with 75. Kyle Boller tied for second most completions in franchise history with 335. Todd Heap and Derrick Mason were first in the NFL for wide receiver and tight end combos with 161 catches combined. Looking at the stats I see a Ravens team that can build on their performance and shine brightly in 2006.
