Goodbye Nolan, Singletary

Was Nolan that big of a factor For the Baltimore Ravens defense?

Did Nolan have a part in the development of saftey Ed Reed?

Are the Baltimore Ravens Linebacking core the best because of Nolan?

Nolan had been the defensive Coordinator for the Ravens for the past two season. The Ravens defense has always been top 10 for the past 5 years. I think Nolan had is hand in on the development of certain players, but I don't think he was the x-factor, that title belongs to a man named Ray Lewis.

As far as Ed Reed goes, I think through Nolan coaching ability he can take the credit for the development of Reed, after all Reed was his draft choice.

Then there is the best group of line backers in league that are indirectly the best of because Nolan. Give credit to Nolan for picking x-all-pro Singletary for coaching the line backers. Singletary is where the credit really goes too for the Ravens Line backers of the past two years.

Lets start anew

Matt Cavanaugh the Ravens offensive coordinator was let go this past Monday sending a message to the team that the offensive in 2005 well be revamped.

Kyle Boller had a decent outing this year, but with the release of Cavanuagh maybe Boller will get some actually targets, with the exception of Todd Heap, to throw to next year.

The Ravens finished 9 - 7.
